If you own any of these products leave a comment of what you think about it. Final cost for my setup was 272.14 with shipping & the PS3 chat cable . After some time using the A40's & the 5.8 wireless MixAmp does matrixed 7.1 meaning that you get a 5.1 signals blended over 7.1 simulated speakers with dolby headphone. So directional audio is no different, but it sounds smoother! Optical cables can only carry signals up to 6.1. Basically you end up with 1234545 instead of 1234567, but it sounds silky smoother than straight 5.1! Thats why you cant really tell the difference direction wise, but how its sounding smoother as you mentioned! All done with wireless 5.8 Ghz tech for a clean crisp sound sound with a Pro build quality .
